This privacy policy describes how Meet Market Makers ("Meet Market Makers," "us," or "we") respects the privacy and treats personal information of its Users, Registered Users and Visitors ("you" or "your").

By submitting Personal Information through the Site, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and you expressly consent to the processing of your Personal Information according to this Privacy Policy. Your Personal Information may be processed by Meet Market Makers in the country where it was collected, as well as in other countries (including the United States) where laws regarding processing of Personal Information may be less stringent than the laws in your country.

Meet Market Makers is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of any other websites to which the Site links or that link to the Site. By clicking on a link, logo or other item, please note that you may no longer be on the Meet Market Makers Site. Please be aware that these sites may collect information about you, and operate according to their own privacy practices that may differ from our Privacy Policy. We encourage you to read the posted privacy statement of that website, as once you are outside any of Meet Market Makers websites, any information you submit is no longer within our control.

The Workspace
This area of the Site is for the benefit of registered Users. The private and shared Workspace areas of the Site facilitate communication and the exchange and sharing of information between Meet Market Makers and registered Users. The information contained in private Workspaces shared between Meet Market Makers and Users is not used for any purposes other than to facilitate communication and the exchange of information between the parties. Meet Market Makers reserves the right to monitor communications in the Workspace in order to monitor compliance with our Terms of Service, international, federal, or state laws and/or our other stated policies.

Information We Gather
Registration
If you register as a User, we collect and store Personal Information that specifically identifies you or your Account. At this time, basic information you would be required to submit is your first name, last name, business name (legal entities only), street address, city, state, zip/postal code, country, phone number, email address (User ID), password, demographic data (such as occupation/profession), and valid financial account information. As part of the User registration, you may elect to set up a "open format" Profile which can include: one (1) standard photo image for a personal user profile and ten (10) more photo images in case of a professional user profile, and a description of your specific services and/or skills experience, expertise, qualifications and other relevant information including, but not limited to, hourly or contract compensation rates, availability, work or project samples, history or career credentials, testimonials, contact or website details. To post personal user or professional user profiles, we require a valid credit card or debit card number and name as it appears on the card. Persons or legal entities interested in buying or selling products or participating in auction bidding through the Site must first complete the User profile registration process and are advised to provide bank account information to facilitate wire transfer capability between us and you. Please use the My Account - Financial Information link to provide or update card or bank information, as needed. We may, in the future, require additional information from you to help us tailor the Site to you and deliver personalized information to you. We will not share with, rent or sell any personal information to third parties in any way other than what is disclosed in this privacy statement without your agreement.

The information you enter during registration is gathered in secure mode and is transmitted via SSL ("Secure Socket Layer") encryption for your protection.

Online Surveys and Contests
Occasionally, Meet Market Makers conducts a User survey to collect information about our Users' preferences. These surveys are optional and if you choose to respond, your responses will be kept confidential. Similarly, we may offer contests to qualifying Visitors in which we ask for contact and demographic information such as name, email address, mailing address, status, gender, and birth year. None of this information is shared with third parties. The demographic information that Meet Market Makers collects in the registration process and through surveys is used to help us improve our Services to meet the needs and preferences of our Users and Visitors. This may include targeting advertising to you about our Services, which you may opt out of at any time. Information we gather through a contest may be disclosed to third parties as necessary for prize fulfillment and other aspects of any contest or similar offering.

The Meet Market Makers Payment System
The Meet Market Makers Payment Service requires Users to pay with a credit card, bank wire transfer, or bank debit card. Meet Market Makers will collect your credit card number or debit card number and/or other financial institution information such as bank name, bank routing number, and bank account number. We will use that information to collect your User listing fee periodically in accordance with your user registration selection or to execute payment through our Payment Service.

Automatic Information Collection
Meet Market Makers automatically collects browser type and browser software version to tailor the presentation of the Site and the Services to the User’s or Visitor’s platform and to maintain a record of the number of visits, average time spent on the site, and the pages viewed on the Site. In general, you can visit our website without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself. Meet Market Makers uses cookies to recognize Users and Visitors, to enable them to specify unique preferences, and to track trends and patterns. Users and Visitors always have the option of disabling cookies via their browser preferences. If you disable cookies on your browser, please note that some parts of our Site may not function as effectively or may be considerably slower. As an automatic process, our web server software records a log file of IP addresses each time you access the Site or view a web page. Your IP address is stored in our Users registration databases when you register with us, though we do not link IP addresses to your Personal Information. However, we will use IP addresses to identify a User or Visitor when we, at our sole discretion, determine that it is necessary to enforce compliance with our Terms of Service or to protect our service, Site, customers, or others.

Public Information
As part of registration, you may set up Profiles describing your personal or professional experiences, expertise, and qualifications, which information will be available for public access on the Site. We will not have any obligation under this Privacy Policy with respect to public access information in your Profile or information you voluntarily provide to other Users and Visitors via the Site.

How Your Information is Used
Use of Personal Information
We use Personal Information for our own internal purposes including contacting you via email to inform you about updates to our Services and providing you with information relating to transactions that you conduct on the Site. We reserve the right to disclose your information as required by law. We do not rent or sell our Users' Personal Information to third parties. We do, however, provide you with the opportunity to receive newsletters or announcements via email if you decide to opt in to receive email communications from us. You may opt out of receiving these emails at any time by clicking to Unsubscribe link in email communications.

Email Communications
We may send you email communications including information that we think may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving these email communications when you register to become a Registered User. Again, we do not pass along any Personal Information to any outside third party.

Other Users
You agree not to use the disclosed information of other Users for any purpose other than to resolve a dispute.

Legal Requests
Meet Market Makers cooperates with law enforcement inquiries, as well as other third parties to enforce laws, such as: intellectual property rights, fraud, theft, harassment and other rights. We may (and you authorize us to) disclose any information about you if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with relevant laws or to respond to subpoenas or warrants served on us; (b) protect or defend the rights or property of Meet Market Makers or third parties; or (c) assist in an investigation.

Business Status Change
If our company or our assets related to the Site are acquired by another company, we will attempt to notify you so that you may make an informed decision about the use of your personal information by the new corporate entity. Although we currently do not have a parent company, any subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under a common control (collectively, "Affiliates"), we may in the future. We may share some or all of your Personal Information with these Affiliates, in which case we will require our Affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy.

Information-Sharing Disclosure Request
If you are a California resident, you have the right to request one Notice of Information-Sharing Disclosure per year, which will identify third parties with whom Meet Market Makers or any of its Affiliates has shared the information we have collected from you. Anonymous Identity Records
We may create Anonymous Identity records from Personal Information by excluding information (such as User ID, password, email address, name, address, financial account information) that makes it personally identifiable to you. We may use this Anonymous Information to analyze inquiry, request, and usage patterns so that we may enhance Services and the Site. We reserve the right to use and disclose Anonymous Information to third parties at our discretion. Anonymous Information means information that is not associated with or linked to your Personal Information; Anonymous Information does not permit the identification of individual persons or legal entities.

Comments Submitted by Users
Meet Market Makers constantly seeks to improve the quality of the services we provide and the user experience on the Site. We value your input and encourage you to help us expand and make improvements to the Site by providing us with any thoughts or comments you might have regarding our services or the operation of the Site. You can submit comments, address concerns or make a new category request by clicking on the "Help" link at the top right or bottom left on the pages. On the Help link mouse-over you can launch the "Contact Us" page where you are asked to enter your name, email address, telephone number, and subject matter related details. Your telephone number is optional. If you provide this information, we will only use it to acknowledge or respond to the submitted information. Submitting requests via email will not cause you to receive any secondary or promotional material, unless specifically asked for. In certain circumstances, we may ask for your permission to post your comments in marketing or promotional materials.

Security
We will take technical reasonable measures to keep your Personal Information secure and protected from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or destruction, and will ask Affiliates, when applicable, to take comparable steps to protect that security. If you use our Site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access information and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your password. To further protect your financial interests and data, we operate our Payment System under secure Internet connections, using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption.

Regarding Children
Meet Market Makers’ website is not intended or designed to attract users under the age of 13. We do not collect personally identifiable data from any person we know to be under the age of 13 and instruct users under 13 not to send us any information for collection on the Site.

User Listing Termination
We protect and save your Personal Information until your user listing with us is terminated involuntarily or voluntarily by you or on expiration of the user listing term, if not renewed in due time. If you terminate your user listing, your Personal Information cannot be recovered. After termination of your user listing, your Personal Information may remain on our archived database and records. Notwithstanding the above, we will maintain information on Users who have been removed for violating our Payment Terms and Conditions and Terms of Service Agreement.

Editing or Deleting User and Registered User Information and Opting Out
We give Registered Users the following options for changing and modifying profile and item information previously provided:
You may update, edit, or delete your Profile Information and your Personal and Financial Data using the “My Account” link on the web pages of the Site after you are registered.

You may update, edit, or delete your for sale or rent regular and auction item postings using the “My Account” link and/or delete respective postings on the web pages of the Site after you completed the item submission process.

This Site offers Users the ability to opt out of receiving promotional email communications from us. However, you may not opt out of receiving administrative communications from Meet Market Makers regarding incoming response(s) to material content and item postings, account status and transaction updates including service and product announcements, except by terminating your User listing. In addition, you may not opt out of Meet Market Makers sending you legal notices related to the Services or the Site.

Consent of Non-U.S. Residents to be Bound by U.S. Law
Recognizing the global nature of the Internet, you will be causing communications to be sent through Meet Market Makers' computer networks, portions of which are located in California and other locations in the United States and portions of which are located abroad. As a result, and also as a result of Meet Market Makers' network architecture and business practices and the nature of electronic communications, even communications that seem to be intrastate in nature can result in the transmission of interstate communications regardless of where you are physically located at the time of transmission. Accordingly, by agreeing to the TOS, you acknowledge that use of the service may result in interstate data transmissions.
